published author. Penny has written since she could hold a pencil in her hand. After raising three children and starting several stories only to put them in a
for later pile, she continued to work piecemeal at writing, until one day the time was right. She does the nuts and bolts of the writing, while her daughter,
Victoria Trout, does the ideas and
research. Then they stir it all up together into heart-warming stories of family life in the past.
As a mother/daughter writing team from the Great Plains, Penelope and Victoria return to their heritage through the pages of their books. Being dissatisfied with the stories on the market, the two teamed up and began sharing the workload.
