Rock 'N Rolla was named Best British Film at the Empire Film Awards held in London on Sunday, March 29, 2009. The film, written and directed by Guy Ritchie, received the award based on voting by readers of the monthly film magazine. Cast members Gerard Butler and Mark Strong accompanied Mr. Ritchie to the stage.
